Mahendergarh : Prof. (Dr.) Sushma Yadav, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh was honored with Women Empowerment Award for her remarkable efforts in the field of women empowerment. She was awarded this honor by Bhagidari JanSahyogSamiti in a program organized in New Delhi on the occasion of International Women's Day. Prof. (Dr.) Sushma Yadav met the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar on Friday and handed over this honor to him. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar congratulated Prof. Sushma Yadav for this honor and said that her contribution is remarkable for women empowerment.
While presenting the letter of honour to the Vice Chancellor Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar, Prof. (Dr.) Sushma Yadav said that under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, the University participants are continuously registering their presence on national and international forums. Prof. Yadav expressed her gratitude to the Bhagidari JanSahyogSamiti and former Vice-Chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University), New Delhi, Prof. K.K. Aggarwal. He said that in view of her works, this honor given by the Bhagidari JanSahyogSamiti will strengthen her ongoing efforts towards the upliftment of women. Prof. Sushma Yadav was given this award at a felicitation ceremony organized in the auditorium of Engineers Bhavan in New Delhi.
