Mahendergarh : Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh has organized National Environment Youth Parliament 2022- “Nurturing Environment Leaders”. This online programme organized byGreen Campus Clean Campus Club and Unnat Bharat Abhiyansamiti in collaboration with ParyavaranSanrakshanGatividhi (PSG)  on the theme- “Role of Individuals/Households in adopting Environmental Friendly Conservation Measures”.Prof.Tanekeshwar, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor urged the faculty and students to make sincere efforts for Green Campus and Clean environment alonghwith neighbourhood. He emphasized the need of taking the environment conservation in mission mode by all the stakeholders to conserve the nature for our coming generations.

The Programme Convener, Prof.Surender Singh briefed the audience about the aim and objectives of the National Environment Youth Parliament-2022. Prof. Dinesh Kumar, Dean Academic also motivated the participants and introduced the chief guest- Prof.Tanekeshwar, Vice-Chancellor of the University. Out of more than 200 registered participants, 21 participants were selected for presentation at University level Competetion-one which is held today. A five-member jury committee including Prof. Dinesh Gupta (DSW), Prof.Phool Singh, Dr.PayalChandel, Dr.Ranbir Singh, and Dr.Antresh Kumar evaluated the participants based on specific criteria. Prof.Parmod Kumar (Co-convener of the Programme) proposed vote of thanks and Programme Coordinators- Dr.UshaNagarajan, Dr. Anita Kumari, and Dr.AnoopYadav put their efforts to make the event successful.
