CUH organized an Expert Lecture on Swavlambi Bharat Abhiyan

:- Objective to inculcate the spirit of becoming job providers, not job seekers

 

Haryana: The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized an expert lecture on entrepreneurship with the objective to inculcate the spirit of becoming job providers, not job seekers. The program was organized under the aegis of Swavlambi Bharat Abhiyan, an initiative of the Indian Government aimed to motivate the youngsters for entrepreneurship.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Haryana said in his message that Swavlambi Bharat Abhiyan is an important collective initiative by the organizations working for economic and social development and taking concrete steps to generate employment and entrepreneurship in our country. Bharat is considered the youngest country in the world and creating employment for all is the biggest issue. It’s our sacred responsibility to encourage our youth to learn new skills as per the requirements of contemporary times. Ms. Jennifer Hossain, Assistant Director, United International University, Dhaka (Bangladesh) told in her address that on research, innovation, and skill development for the creation of entrepreneurship opportunities. She said that it is a wonderfulmission of Swadeshi Jagran Manch to make India self-reliant. Ms. Jennifer Hossain shared how young entrepreneurs of Bharat are becoming job providers in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. Dr.  Ranbir Singh, Head of the Department, said that tourism is a rapidly growing industry in the country with ample opportunities for employment and shared that with a very small seed money one can start entrepreneurship in this field.
