Mahendergarh : The Training Cell of Central University of Haryana successfully organized a Workshop on Resume Designing and Job Interview Preparation to help students improve their job-related skills. The event received a great response, with 150 students from over 11 departments participating, showing their strong interest in career development.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Haryana, was the Chief Guest at the event. In his inaugural speech, he spoke about the importance of training and skill development for students to become employable. He also discussed the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and creativity in today’s job market, encouraging students to use technology wisely while being aware of its challenges.
The workshop was led by Ms. Alka Madan, an expert in career development and corporate training. She gave students valuable tips on resume writing, interview skills, and professional presentation. The session included practical demonstrations, interactive discussions, and personalized feedback, making it a useful learning experience for all attendees.
Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Garg, Director of Training, highlighted the need for employability training which will help students to become more industry-ready. Dr.Snehsata, Deputy Director of Training Cell, welcomed the guests and participants.To ensure the smooth conduct of the event, Dr. Amit Kumar, Dr.Divya, Er. Tarun Singh and Mr. Amit, Deputy Directors, played an important role in managing different aspects of the workshop.
The workshop proved to be highly beneficial, in helping students developing important career skills. Many participants appreciated the interactive and practical approach of the session which gave them clear guidance on building resumes, preparing for interviews, and improving their professional image.With such initiatives, the Central University of Haryana continues to prepare students for the job market.
