CUH organised a program on Guru Ravidas Jayanti

:- On the occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti, a webinar was organized by Department of Journalism and Mass Communication on February 16 in Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh.


On the occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti, a webinar was organized on February 16 in Central University of  Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh. In this webinar organized by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Central Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Shri Virendra Kumar was the Chief Guest and the program was presided over by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar.

While addressing the program, Mr. Virendra Kumar said that, “God is everywhere and we should love human and humanity. The land of Haryana is the land of heroes. I am feeling young while connecting with this university here. This University has progressed in a short time which is indeed commendable. This is proved by the Students studying here are from different states and Union territories and more than 70 curriculums are running here. Under the leadership of Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, this University is persistently progressing.” The Chief Guest said that the University and the government has one goal and that is how to bring welfare to all with the spirit of Antyodaya and to actualize the dream of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’.

The Vice Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that this University is fully realizing the dreams of Guru Ravidas ji. He said that God resides in all of us. We just to need to identify Him. While serving humanity, we can achieve divinity. The University is playing an important role in giving social message and spreading social awareness. The University's goal is how to realize the dreams of Guru Ravidas and that all the students get equal opportunities while special efforts are being made to bring forward those who do not get the opportunity to advance in society.

Sunita Srivastava & Prof. Sarika Sharma introduced the Honorable Minister and Vice-Chancellor respectively. Dean of School of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Chanchal Kumar Sharma said that 300 participants registered for the webinar. The program was conducted by the Assistant Professor Alekha S Nayak from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, while Thanksgiving was given by the Assistant Professor of the Department Dr. Surendra Singh. Prof.  Pawan Kumar Maurya, Dr. Dilbag, Nishan Singh played a significant role in the successful organization of the webinar. Deans of Various Schools of the University, Heads of the Departments, Teachers, Students and Researchers were present.
