Haryana: Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh is going to start a new programme in Hindi translation from the current academic session. For this, two-year M.A. (Hindi translation) program is going to start from the current academic session by the Hindi Department of the University. All the details and links for admission to this program are available on the University website. Interested applicants can apply through the link given on the website. The admission process for this program has started from October 21, 2022 and the last date of application is November 4, 2022. While expressing happiness on the commencement of this program, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that this program proposed by the Hindi Department would prove helpful in implementing the National Education Policy. The concept and commitment to promote Indian languages is reflected in the National Policy on Education. This translation focused program will help in enhancing the dialogue between Indian languages and dialects.
Dr. V. N. Yadav, HoD, Department of Hindi said that Students taking admission in M.A. (Hindi translation) will get more employment opportunities in future because employment opportunities in translation are going to increase continuously. Translation gives employment as well as creative recognition. The New Education Policy also envisages to enhance translation and make students skillful in it, thereby targeting a positive future in this field.
