CUH awarded 5G Use Case Lab

This year the theme of this event is Global Digital Innovation. Through which topics like 5G, 6G and Artificial Intelligence will be discussed for changes on the technological development front in India.

Haryana :- Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh has received the '5G Use Case Lab' from the Ministry of Communications. The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi awarded these labs in 100 educational institutions of the country including CUH through online mode during the Indian Mobile Congress 2023 organized at Bharat Mandapam, PragatiMaidan, Delhi on Friday. The University participated in this event through online mode, in which Vice Chancellor Prof. TankeshwarKumar,  Dean Research Prof. NeelamSangwan and more than one thousand students, teachers, researchers participated. In his address, the Prime Minister described this beginning important in the direction of encouraging the development and innovation of information technology in the fields of education, agriculture, health, energy and transportation etc. for the social and economic development of India.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that it is a matter of great pride that CUH is included among the 100 prestigious educational institutions of the country in which this lab has been established. He said that their basic objective is to promote new research in accordance with Indian and global needs at the level of development of 5G technology and various applications related to it. He said that this effort will not only be helpful in the development of 5G technology but will also be helpful in creating a 6G friendly environment at the educational and startup level. Through this effort, Indian based technological development will definitely get a boost which will also be useful in terms of national security.

These labs in the University were started in Delhi under the Indian Mobile Congress 2023. This year the theme of this event is Global Digital Innovation. Through which topics like 5G, 6G and Artificial Intelligence will be discussed for changes on the technological development front in India. Through these labs in educational institutions, young talents, MSMEs and groups of teachers will jointly get opportunities to come together on one platform for technological development and develop new technologies. Professor of Computer Engineering and Technology Department under the School of Engineering and Technology in the University Prof. Rakesh Kumar and Dr. Vinay Kumar Ray expressed his gratitude to the University Vice-Chancellor for starting this and said that through this lab, students, teachers and researchers will together move towards society and industry based research.
