The CUET (UG) 2026 will be held in 13 mediums, serving as the single-window entrance examination for admission to undergraduate programmes in all Central Universities (CUs) and other participating universities.

Online Application to Begin Soon

The online application form for CUET (UG) 2026 will be made available on the official NTA website cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates are advised to submit their forms carefully once the application window opens.

Universities, Courses & Syllabus Available Online

Details of undergraduate programmes and courses offered by Central Universities and participating institutions are available on:

  • Respective university websites

The list of participating universities is dynamic, and aspirants are advised to regularly check the official CUET portal for updates.

Aadhaar-Based Authentication to Ease Application Process

To minimise difficulties during the application process, NTA had earlier issued a Public Notice dated December 4, 2025, introducing Aadhaar-based authentication.

Under this system, the following details will be fetched from UIDAI:

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Photograph
  • Address

However, details such as father’s, mother’s or guardian’s name, which are not recorded in Aadhaar, must be filled separately by candidates in the application form.

Provision for Name Mismatch

In cases where there is a mismatch between the candidate’s name in Aadhaar and Class 10 certificates, NTA will provide an option during the online application process to resolve the issue.
