New Delhi.: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit cards for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate [CUET (UG)] 2026 examination. Candidates appearing for the examination can now download their admit cards from the official website.
The CUET UG 2026 examination will be conducted from May 11 to May 31, 2026, in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at examination centres across India and abroad.
Candidates can access their admit cards by logging into the official portal using their application credentials.
Advance Exam City Slip Already Issued
NTA had earlier released the Advance Exam City Intimation Slip on April 29, 2026, informing candidates about their allotted exam cities and schedules.
According to the agency, each examination shift will have a duration of three hours. Candidates may appear for a minimum of one subject and a maximum of three subjects in a single shift.
For example:
- Candidates allotted three subjects in one shift will remain for the entire three-hour duration.
- Candidates with two subjects may leave the examination hall after completing their allotted exam duration.
Important Instructions for Candidates
The National Testing Agency has advised all candidates to carefully read the instructions mentioned on the admit card before appearing for the examination.
Candidates must carry:
- A printed copy of the CUET UG 2026 admit card
- The same photo identity proof uploaded during the application process
NTA has also issued special instructions for candidates whose live photographs did not match Aadhaar records during registration or those who used alternate identity proofs while filling out the application form.
Such candidates must carry an original verification certificate signed and attested by:
- Principal or Headmaster
- Any Class-I Gazetted Officer
- Tehsildar
- Revenue Officer
- SDM/DM
- Indian Embassy Class-I Officer (for NRI candidates)
The verification certificate format was earlier notified by NTA through its public notice dated April 7, 2026.

Candidates are encouraged to regularly visit the official NTA and CUET websites for the latest updates related to the examination.
