New Delhi. : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the subject-wise schedule of the Common University Entrance Test – Postgraduate [CUET (PG)] 2026 for admission to PG programmes for the Academic Year 2026–27.
According to the notification, the registration process for CUET (PG) 2026 was open from 14 December 2025 to 25 January 2026, followed by a correction window from 28 to 30 January 2026 to allow candidates to make necessary modifications to their application forms.
The CUET (PG) 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across 2–3 shifts per day on 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, and 27 March 2026. In total, the exam will be held in 44 shifts, with each shift lasting 90 minutes.
This year, the examination will cover 157 subjects for 4,11,366 unique registered candidates. Candidates were allowed to choose up to four test papers/subjects, in line with previous years’ norms.
The detailed date-sheet and subject-wise schedule have been provided in Annexure 1 of the official notice. Candidates and stakeholders are advised to carefully review the schedule and plan their preparations accordingly.
Medium of Question Papers
CUET (PG) 2026 question papers will be bilingual (English & Hindi), except:
- 41 Language Papers
- M.Tech./Higher Sciences: English only
- Acharya Papers: Sanskrit only (Indian Knowledge System and Baudha Darshana will be Trilingual – Hindi/Sanskrit/English)
- Hindu Studies: Hindi and English
