New Delhi.; The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the results for the Common University Entrance Test (PG) 2026 on April 24, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the postgraduate entrance exam can now download their scorecards from the official website — National Testing Agency portal — using their application number and date of birth.
Exam Overview
CUET (PG) 2026 was conducted between March 6 and March 30, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 50 shifts covering 157 subjects. The exam witnessed participation from 4,11,366 registered candidates, out of which 3,45,220 candidates appeared.

- Female: 2,32,965 registered | 1,98,060 appeared
- Male: 1,78,391 registered | 1,47,151 appeared
- Third Gender: 10 registered

- General: 1,60,099 registered | 1,31,748 appeared
- OBC (NCL): 1,37,809 registered | 1,18,165 appeared
- SC: 45,954 registered | 38,518 appeared
- ST: 36,653 registered | 29,897 appeared
- EWS: 30,851 registered | 26,892 appeared
Participating Universities
A total of 198 universities are accepting CUET (PG) 2026 scores, including:
- 45 Central Universities
- 40 State Universities
- 24 Government Institutions
- 89 Private & Deemed Universities
Transparent Evaluation Process
To ensure fairness, NTA released the provisional answer key and response sheets from April 11 to April 14, 2026, inviting objections. After expert verification, the final answer key was used to prepare results.
Security & Monitoring Measures
NTA implemented strict measures such as:
- AI-based video analytics
- Live CCTV surveillance
- Deployment of 267 city coordinators and 731 observers
- Use of jammers to prevent malpractice
- Central control room monitoring across India
What’s Next?
The NTA will not release any centralized merit list. Each participating university will independently prepare merit lists and conduct counselling based on CUET (PG) scores. Candidates are advised to regularly check the websites of their preferred universities for admission updates.
