New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finalised and clarified the CUET UG 2026 examination timeline for students seeking undergraduate admissions across central, state, and participating universities. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026 is scheduled to be held between 11 May and 31 May 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. It will be a multi-session national examination spread over three weeks.

The online application process opened on 3 January 2026 and was extended through 4 February 2026 after an earlier January deadline was lengthened to accommodate more applicants. A correction window for submitted forms was made available in early February and has now closed, allowing candidates to rectify details such as subject choices, personal information, and preferred exam centres.

The date announcement provides clarity for lakhs of aspirants nationwide, as they align their preparation with official timelines. CUET scores serve as the basis for admissions into undergraduate programmes at central universities and several state, deemed, and private institutions.

  • Registration: 3 Jan – 4 Feb 2026 (extended)
