CTET February 2026 Application Window Closes Today

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the application window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 today, December 18, 2025. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must complete the online registration process before the deadline.

CTET is a mandatory eligibility test for candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes I to VIII in central government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas. The exam is conducted for two papers — Paper I for primary teachers and Paper II for upper primary teachers.

Applicants are advised to carefully verify their personal details, educational qualifications, and exam centre preferences before submitting the application form. Incomplete or incorrect applications may be rejected.

Candidates who successfully submit the application will be able to download the admit card from the official website once released.
