CTET 2025: Board Allows One-Time Window to Complete Incomplete Applications
New Delhi. : The CBSE conducting the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) has announced a one-time opportunity for candidates who had initiated the registration process but could not complete their applications within the original deadline.
The online application process for CTET 2025 began on November 27, 2025, and closed on December 18, 2025, at 11:59 PM. During this period, a total of 25,30,581 candidates successfully submitted their applications.
Large Number of Last-Minute Applications
According to official data, 3,53,218 candidates completed their applications on the second last day, while 4,14,981 candidates submitted their forms on the final day. After the application window closed, the board received multiple grievances from candidates who were unable to complete the submission process.
Upon review, it was found that 1,61,127 registrations remained incomplete and were not converted into final submitted applications.
One-Time Facility for Incomplete Registrations
Considering that the current CTET examination is being conducted after a gap of nearly one year, the board has decided to take a sympathetic view of the matter. As a result, candidates who had already initiated the registration process will be given a one-time facility to complete and submit their applications.
The special window will be available on the CTET portal:
- Start date: December 27, 2025 (11:00 AM)
- Last date: December 30, 2025 (11:59 PM)
- No Fresh Registration Allowed
The board has clarified that no fresh registrations will be permitted during this special window. Only candidates with incomplete registrations will be allowed to log in and complete the final submission.
Candidates are also advised to carefully verify their personal details and make necessary corrections during the final submission process, as no further opportunity for correction will be provided after this window closes.
Eligible candidates are urged to complete the process well before the deadline to avoid technical issues at the last moment.
