CSLG, JNU organizes a seminar by Kriti Kapila

New Delhi: Centre for the Study of Law and Governance is organizing a seminar titled “Nullius: The Anthropology of Ownership, Sovereignty, and the Law in India.” by Prof. Kriti Kapila. The seminar will be conducted online on Friday, 21 April 2023.

Dr Kriti Kapila is a social anthropologist whose research focuses on the work of law in contemporary India, including the anthropology of law, genetics, and genomics. She is the Academic Director of the International School for Government. She was also Director of the Chevening Gurukul Leadership Programme (2013-16) and is currently co-director of the Chevening Financial Services Leadership Programme. 

She has published extensively on the subject. Nullius is her first book which was originally published in 2022.
