New Delhi. : The Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Jamia Millia Islamia is organizing athree-day international conference on “Enterprise and Entrepreneurialism in Tourism and Hospitality” between 28th – 30th, January, 2022. The conference is sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. The online 3-day Conference would be well attended by the prominent authorities from the Ministry of Tourism, National Tourism Associations and Academia, making it extremely relevant with their vast experience to the needs of our ever-changing world. Some of the notable global thought leaders in the domain of entrepreneurship will also be deliberating in the conference.

The three-day online conference will eminently be graced by the presence of Prof. S. P. It paves a way to increase employment opportunities for the countrymen and ushers the nation on a growth trajectory that is so much the need of the hour. It provides the service sector to be a part of the demand and supply chain, thereby, assuring economic progress and socio-economic balance in the nation.

The University having one of the most comprehensive tourism and hospitality departments in the South Asia region, is alive to its pioneering role and responsibilities to align and serve India’s priorities of making it “Atma Nirbhar” whilst commemorating the 75 glorious years of independent India through the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Thus, through this International conference, Jamia Millia Islamiahas envisaged, to provide a forum for researchers, educationists and practitioners in the field of entrepreneurship to exchange their research findings, and experiences. It aims to attract an interesting combination of academic scholars, practitioners, and individuals who are involved in various dimensions of tourism and hospitality innovation and entrepreneurship education and research. The goal is to address the role of research in entrepreneurship in the context of contemporary tourism and hospitality.
