28th July 2023, Bangalore: CMR University welcomed the new batch of academic year 2023-24 with a grand Orientation and Inaugural function, held at its City Campus (HRBR Layout) on 28th July 2023. Over 250 enthusiastic students attended the function along with their parents.

INSA Senior Scientist at National Institute of Advanced Studies Dr. G Parthasarathy ennobled the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Guest of Honour was Dr. KC Ramamurthy (IPS Retd.), the Chairman of CMR University and CMR Group of Institutions, and former Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha). Other esteemed members on the dais included Dr. Praveen R, the Registrar, Dr. HB Raghavendra, the Vice-Chancellor, and Dr.Suja Bennet, Dean Academics.

Speaking at the occasion, Dr. G Parthasarathy pointed out that “Ability, attitude and aptitude are the most crucial driving aspects through your college life and it will determine your abilities as a professional”. He added “It is all about loving what you do by doing something that you love”.  Chairman Dr. KC Ramamurthy addressed the gathering, encouraging the students to perform their academic duties with due diligence. He urged them to aim for excellence and stated the importance of planning out for the long term. “With proper conduct, it is inevitable that companies will come in search of you, and you will not have to carry out exhaustive job-hunting,” added the Chairman.

The Orientation and Inaugural function serve as a reminder that the students of CMR University are part of a supportive and inspiring community that will guide them to success and holistic growth. As the academic year unfolds, may the students find their purpose, create cherished memories, and build lasting relationships at CMR University.
