CMR Institute congratulates International Youth Math Challenge participants who earned bronze, silver honours

The International Youth Math Challenge is an international mathematics competition that challenges students to prove their math skil

 

Bengaluru. : The CMR Institute of Technology has congratulated five students who have earned silver and bronze honours for placing in the top 7% (silver) and top 15/20/25% (bronze) of the International Youth Math Challenge of 2022 (IYMC 2022). The students names are Shubhangam Kumar [silver honour, top 7%], Rishabh Patel [bronze honour, top 15%], Rohan Rajendra [bronze honour, top 20%], S Esha [bronze honour, top 25%], and Sweta Palani Velu [bronze honour, top 25%].

The International Youth Math Challenge is an international mathematics competition that challenges students to prove their math skills. Only high school and university students are allowed to participate and depending on their age (over or under 18), they may need to solve more or less problems than other students. All students will receive participation certificates and the best students will receive cash prizes ($150, $100 and $50 for first, second and third place, respectively) along with prize certificates. Select participants will also receive national awards for being the best participant from their home country and finalists will receive gold, silver or bronze honours for their performance.
