
Prof. (Dr.) T. R. Subramanya, Dean of the School of Legal Studies at CMR University, was recently honoured with the Advocate General Sri S.G. Sundaraswamy Centenary Award during the Capital Foundation Annual Awards 2025. Telangana Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy presented the award to Prof. Subramanya at a ceremony held at Hyderabad’s Taj Krishna.
Renowned for his academic leadership, Prof. Subramanya has played a pivotal role in establishing nine research centres dedicated to continuous legal research and leads the publication of several significant legal journals, including the UGC CARE Group 1-listed ‘CMR University Journal for Contemporary Legal Affairs.’
The award, constituted in the name of Advocate General Sri S.G. Sundaraswamy, commemorates the legacy of the legal luminary. The Capital Foundation Society, a non-profit organisation, serves as a platform connecting thought leaders, activists, and key decision-makers. The annual awards ceremony celebrates this mission by recognising outstanding contributions in various fields.
