New Delhi. ; The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has extended the registration deadline for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025. Originally set to close on October 15, candidates now have until October 22, 11:59 PM, to complete their applications for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes.
Candidates can submit their applications on the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in. CLAT 2025 will take place on December 1, 2024.
How to Apply for CLAT 2025
- Visit the official CLAT website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
- Click on the 'Register' button located at the bottom of the login window.
- Provide the necessary details to create an account and log in.
- Complete the registration form with all required information.
- Upload the necessary documents, including:
- Recent front-facing photograph
- Signature
- Applicable certificates (SC, ST, OBC, PwD, BPL categories)
- Ensure all documents are in PDF format.
- Submit the form and save the confirmation page for future reference.
Application Fees
General category: Rs 4,000
SC, ST, PwD, BPL candidates: Rs 3,500 Please note that the application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate Programme: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
Postgraduate Programme: Applicants should have an LLB degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
There is no age limit for either programme. Candidates appearing for their qualifying exams in March/April 2025 are also eligible to apply.
