CIET-NCERT Begins Capacity Building Workshop 3.0 Batch 4 at NCERT
New Delhi: The Capacity Building Workshop 3.0, Batch 4 commenced at the Rashtriya Vidya Samiksha Kendra (RVSK), CIET-NCERT, under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The workshop brings together participants from Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Chandigarh, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
The inaugural session was attended by Prof. Amarendra P. Behera, Joint Director, CIET-NCERT, and Prof. Shireesh Pal Singh, Head, DICT, CIET-NCERT.
Sessions Focus on Data and Digital Education
The Day 1 sessions provided participants with an overview of Rashtriya Vidya Samiksha Kendra (RVSK) and the National Data Ecosystem.
Participants also discussed the 6As framework, covering:
- Attendance
- Assessment
- Adaptive Learning
- Accreditations
- Administration
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The sessions focused on how data and emerging technologies can support education administration, assessment, learning and decision-making.
APAAR Scaling Across States and UTs
Another key focus of the workshop was the scaling of APAAR across States and Union Territories.
Participants explored approaches for strengthening implementation and expanding the use of digital education initiatives across different regions.
The workshop aims to build the capacity of education stakeholders and strengthen their understanding of data-driven educational systems, digital platforms and emerging technologies.
