On May 31st, 2023, the Psychology Department of Christ University will host its bi-monthly
research scholars’ gathering at the Central Campus of Christ University in Bangalore. The
agenda of this gathering will be to present scholarly articles and ideas on the theme of
Animal-Assisted Therapy for Social Competence among individuals with Autistic Spectrum
Disorder.
The RC or Research Colloquium is an initiative by the Ph.D. scholars of the psychology
department of Christ University, Bangalore Central Campus. It encourages the participation of
scholars in presenting specialized topics related to their research work. This gathering will be
hosted by one of the scholars from the same association, Ms. Hemangi Narayan Narvekar.
The gathering is scheduled to take place at 12 P.M on Wednesday, 31st May 2023, and is
expected to last for an hour.
Such scholarly gatherings which aim to help the Autistic Spectrum community are a crucial step
in the direction of achieving realizable results for the welfare of less fortunate communities. It
further drives to encourage inclusivity in society for individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
