Central University of Haryana organized an Invited talk

Dr. Shyam Bansal, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Physiology and Cell Biology, College of Medicine, The Ohio State University, USA was present as a speaker.

 

Haryana: The Department of Nutrition Biology, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized an Invited talk. In the event Dr. Shyam Bansal, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Physiology and Cell Biology, College of Medicine, The Ohio State University, USA was present as a speaker. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the University showed the gratitude to the speaker Dr. Shyam Bansal for coming Central University of Haryana and emphasized on the importance of offline invited talk and its significance in student’s curriculum.

The event started with University Kulgeet. Dr. Shyam Bansal talked on the role of T Cells in Ischemic Heart Failure. Dr. Bansal explained the mechanism of Heart failure and focused on the role of T cell in developing the disease. He suggested that these cells can be a target to develop medicines in heart failure.  He also told about various opportunities available to MSc and PhD students in USA for Indian students. The talk was followed by question and answer session. Ms. Isha, student of Dept. of Nutrition Biology welcomed the guest and Ms. Mahima introduced the speaker to gathering. In the last Ms. Neeru proposed vote of thanks. During the event Prof. Sunita Srivastava, Prof. Neelam Sangwan, Prof. Kanti Prakash, Prof. Surender Singh, were present along with students and faculty members of Nutrition Biology and other departments of the University.
