ICSSR Sponsored 10 Day Research Methodology Course Concludes at Central University of Haryana

Haryana, September 21, 2026: An ICSSR-sponsored 10-day Research Methodology Course organised by the Department of Psychology at Central University of Haryana (CUH) concluded with a valedictory ceremony at the university.

The academic programme was organised to strengthen the research aptitude, methodological competencies, analytical skills and academic writing capabilities of emerging researchers.

The programme received more than 350 applications, from which 30 participants were selected.

CUH Vice-Chancellor Highlights Importance of Rigorous Research

The valedictory ceremony was attended by Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Haryana, as the Chief Guest and Dr. Urmi Nanda, Professor and Head, Department of Psychology, University of Delhi, as the Guest of Honour.

Addressing the participants, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of rigorous, ethical and socially relevant research.

He encouraged participants to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the course in their future research work and use research to contribute to academic knowledge and address contemporary societal challenges.

The 10-day course featured 17 distinguished resource persons, who conducted expert sessions covering a wide range of research methodologies and techniques.
