Kolkata : The University of Burdwan is going to celebrate the International Mother Language Day as announced by UNESCO every year on February 21st.

The International Mother Language Day is celebrated and observed all over the world as being directed by UNESCO. It works to promote dissemination of mother tounges and fuller awareness of linguistic and cultural traditions throughout the world and to inspire solidarity based on understanding,tolerance and dialogue. Hence it has been decided to celebrate MATRIBHASA DIWAS to promote the use of mother tounge.

The programme is going to be organised in the offline mode at the Kadambini Ganguly Hall,Golapbag campus,at around 2:00p.m. with the strict maintainance of COVID-19 protocol.
