Meerut: Choudhary Charan Singh University has made an announcement regarding processing of affiliation/capacity applications for the academic year 2026-27 in its letter to colleges/universities in the region. The letter sent by the CCSU states that any college/university wishing to open a new school or offer a new program (except B.E.D.) must complete the online application form before the required deadline outlined in the letter from the Higher Education Department of Uttar Pradesh.
The letter also indicates that every affiliation and capacity proposal will be processed according to the timetable provided by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and that all colleges/universities will be required to submit their applications online by the timelines established so that timely processing can occur.
Additionally, according to the letter, if a college/university's program has no active affiliation status due to expiry on or after 30 June 2026, then the application for renewal of the expired affiliation must be submitted before the deadlines provided in this letter. Any applications received after the deadline established by this letter will not be accepted. Consequently, any college/university that fails to submit their application will be responsible for any delays resulting from not submitting their proposal on time.
A copy of the circular has been sent out to all affiliated colleges and associated administrative offices for compliance.
Institutional authorities have advised all colleges/universities to review eligibility criteria and strictly follow all dates listed to ensure that all proposals will be accepted.
