Bengaluru : C-CAMP (Centre for Cellular & Molecular Platforms, Department of Biotechnology of the Indian Government) will be holding a Microfluidic Devices bootcamp on February 2 and 3 (Thursday and Friday). The deadline for signing up is January 13 (Friday), with limited seats available.
The bootcamp will involve a complete interactive introduction to Microfluidic Principles, SU-8 photolithography and surface profilometry inside a class 10,000 cleanroom, plastic micromachining for microfluidics, and soft lithography with PDMS (Polydimethylsiloxane). Eligible participants include students, entrepreneurs, and researchers who are interested and/or involved in microfluidic devices or applied diagnostic research. Participants will receive a workshop certificate for attending the bootcamp.
The venue is the MedTech Rapid Prototyping Facility at C-CAMP (Bangalore). In order to apply, applicants need to fill out the form below with their full name, email address, mobile number, gender, what occupation they have (student, post-doctorate, industry representative, faculty or entrepreneur/startup representative), which institute/company they are from and its location, their choice of registration fees, invoice name and complete postal address, and a screenshot of the payment confirmation.
