The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of the Class XII Supplementary Examinations 2024, conducted on July 15, 2024, across the nation and in 26 countries abroad. The results are available on the DigiLocker platform and will be sent to schools and candidates shortly.
Key Highlights:
- 29.78% overall pass percentage
- 131,396 candidates registered, with 127,473 appearing for the exams
- 37,957 candidates passed
- Girls outperformed boys by 5.57%, with a pass percentage of 33.47% compared to 27.90% for boys
- Transgender candidates achieved a 100% pass percentage
- Candidates with special needs (CWSN) achieved a pass percentage of 49.17%
The supplementary exams were held for students who were placed in the compartment category, those who wanted to improve their performance, and those who were declared pass but wanted to replace their main subjects with additional subjects.
The verification process will begin on August 6, 2024, and a circular will be issued shortly.
CBSE has worked efficiently to declare the results within a fortnight to avoid inconvenience to candidates seeking admission to higher/professional courses.
