New Delhi. ; The Central Board of Secondary Education is set to announce the CBSE Class 12 Board Result 2026 shortly, bringing anticipation to an end for lakhs of students across the country.
Once officially declared, students will be able to access their results on the board’s official websites:
- results.cbse.nic.in
- cbse.gov.in
Massive Participation This Year
- In 2026, approximately 18.59 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 board examinations, covering over 120 subjects. The exams were conducted at more than 7,500 centres nationwide, reflecting the large scale of the evaluation process.
Among the candidates:
- 10.27 lakh were male students
- 8.31 lakh were female students
Overall, more than 43.6 lakh students registered for CBSE board exams (Class 10 and 12 combined), held across 8,000+ centres in India.
The Class 12 exams were conducted between February 17 and April 10, 2026.
How to Check CBSE 12th Result 2026
Students can check their results by following these steps:
- Visit the official CBSE result website
- Enter roll number, school number, and other required details
- Submit the information to view the result
- Download and print the scorecard for future reference
Digital Marksheet Access
Apart from official websites, CBSE will also provide digital marksheets through:
- DigiLocker
- UMANG
To access marksheets on DigiLocker, students need to:
- Log in using their credentials
- Complete Aadhaar verification (if required)
- Use the ‘Pull Partner Documents’ option
The digital marksheet will include:
- Subject-wise marks
- Total score
- Grades
- Result status
- Stay Updated
