What if a candidate's marks remained the same or were reduced after the re-evaluation?
- Verification of issues observed and re-evaluation are processes wherein specific concerns of the candidates are addressed.
- There is no guarantee that these processes will lead to a change of marks.
- As a result of the review, marks may be increased, decreased or remain the same.
- Any genuine concern of the candidate is rectified in the final outcome of the review process.
- To review requests for a change in marks, a thorough review is conducted to ensure that accuracy and integrity are maintained.
What procedures were followed in the verification process and re-evaluation?

- Candidates whose results state "No Change" will be allowed to view their answer books at the respective CBSE Regional Office.

What was the reason for the delay in publishing the result?
CBSE has mentioned that for the previous year, the re-evaluation and verification results were declared between 27 June 2025 and 11 July 2025.
What measures were implemented to guarantee fairness and accountability?
- With students’ welfare as a priority, CBSE initiated the process with serious intent.
- Continuous monitoring was supplemented by support from experts from IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur.
- All applications were assessed based on merit.
- Two evaluators screened each answer book that was subject to re-evaluation.
- The process was overseen by officials from CBSE Headquarters and Regional Offices.

No. CBSE stated that some students’ scores change each year due to the explanation clarifying that students are allowed to verify and reaffirm their scores and address any errors that may exist in marking, as well.
