CBSE Class 10 and12 Board Exam 2027 Date Sheet Expected Soon: What Students Need to Know Before the Schedule Comes
New Delhi : Students studying for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations 2027 are looking forward to the official date sheet. As of October 5, 2026, CBSE has not yet announced the final subject-wise timetable. However, the date sheet is expected to be announced soon, with reports pointing towards an October release. CBSE
The development is important for students because the official timetable will determine the exact examination dates and help them with their final preparation. Until CBSE publishes the schedule, students should not rely on unofficial subject-wise dates that may be circulating online.
CBSE Date Sheet 2027: Latest Update
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not thus far published the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exam 2027 date sheet on its official website.
CBSE's latest updates show that preparations for the 2026–27 examination cycle have already begun. The Board has launched the List of Candidates (LOC) for Class 10 and Class 12 main examinations, and held a live Q&A webinar about registration and LOC procedures. Recent reports suggest that the final timetable can be released in October 2026, although there is no specific release date yet that CBSE has announced.

When Will CBSE Class 10, 12 Date Sheet 2027 Be Released?
There is currently no officially confirmed date yet for the release of CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 date sheet 2027. The expectation of an October release is based largely on CBSE's previous examination-calendar pattern and current preparations. The 2026 Board Exam date sheet was released on October 30, 2025, while CBSE has also issued a tentative schedule earlier in September 2025. Jagranjosh.com
So, students can expect an announcement during the month of October, but should consider any specific date that is circulating on social media as unconfirmed unless it comes directly from CBSE.
When Will CBSE Board Exams 2027 Be Conducted?
The 2027 Board Examinations are expected to be taken place during the February–March 2027 period, but the exact dates will only be official when CBSE has announced the timetable.
For Class 10 students, the 2026–27 examination cycle is also in the context of CBSE's two-board-examination framework. The Board's official 2025 announcement had introduced tentative date sheets for the Class X Main Examination, Class XII Main Examination and Class X Second Board Examination.
Students should therefore be waiting for the 2027 examination notification before planning around the dates.
What Should Students Do Until Then?
Waiting for the timetable should not take a break for study. Students can use this time to:
- Complete the rest of the syllabus
- Revise chapters that have been covered
- Practice CBSE sample papers and previous questions
- Find subjects or topics needing attention
- Create a realistic revision timetable
- Keep practical and internal-assessment requirements on track
CBSE has already issued examination-related resources for the 2026–27 session, including sample papers and marking schemes, giving students materials to understand the expected examination approach.
For students with different learning needs, preparation should be flexible too. Schools, teachers and families can help students to access the appropriate learning support rather than expecting every learner to follow the same method of revision.
How to Download CBSE Date Sheet 2027?
Once officially released, students should download the timetable from the CBSE website. Follow the Steps:
- Visit cbse.gov.in.
- Open the latest examination or notification section.
- Look for the Class X/XII Board Examination 2027 date-sheet notification.
- Open the official PDF.
- Download and save it for future reference.
- Check the subject, date, examination time and instructions carefully.
CBSE itself advises students and schools to follow official Board communications for examination-related updates.
Final Thoughts
The CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Exam 2027 date sheet is expected to come soon, but it is not yet officially out. That distinction is important: an expected release window should not be confused with a confirmed notification.
For now, students should be keeping preparing with the available CBSE resources and using the official website as their final source when the timetable is released.
