New Delhi.:The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an official public notice announcing the Tier-I examination schedule for the Direct Recruitment Quota Examination 2026 (DRQ 2026). The recruitment drive is being conducted for various Group A, B, and C posts under Advertisement No. CBSE/Rectt.Cell/14(88)/2025 dated December 2, 2025.
According to the notice issued on December 30, 2025, the Tier-I examinations will be held on January 31 and February 1, 2026, in multiple sessions for different post codes.

January 31, 2026 (Saturday)
Session I (One Common Paper)
Time: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM | Duration: 2 Hours
- Post Code 01/25 – Assistant Secretary
- Post Code 02/25 – Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (Academics)
- Post Code 03/25 – Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (Training)
- Post Code 04/25 – Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (Skill Education)
- Post Code 05/25 – Accounts Officer
- Post Code 07/25 – Junior Translation Officer
Session II
Time: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM | Duration: 2 Hours
- Post Code 06/25 – Superintendent
February 1, 2026 (Sunday)
Session I (One Common Paper)
Time: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM | Duration: 2 Hours
- Post Code 08/25 – Junior Accountant
- Post Code 09/25 – Junior Assistant
Admit Card and Exam Centre Details
CBSE has clarified that details related to the Tier-I examination centre, exam city, and admit cards will be made available to candidates through their respective application login portals at an appropriate time.
