New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore has extended the application deadline for CAT 2022. The window was initially scheduled to close on September 14. Eligible candidates can register by September 21 till 5 pm, by visiting the official website i.e., https://iimcat.ac.in/. 

The registration process for CAT 2022 commenced on August 4, while the examination date for the same is November 27. CAT form correction window is expected to open by September 23, 2022. Candidates are required furnish basis details such as name, phone number, email ID, date of birth, nationality and address, to register for CAT 2022. Once registered, candidates will have the access to the CAT application form 2022. The candidates belonging from general category have to pay a registration fee of Rs 2300, whereas candidates from reserved category are required to pay a fee of Rs 1150. 

CAT Registration and Application: How to apply

1. Open the official website i.e., https://iimcat.ac.in/. 

2. Click on ‘New Registration’

3. Enter basic details to register for CAT 2022

4. Verify OTP shared on phone to authenticate CAT registration

5. Fill relevant fields of the CAT application form

6. Upload a passport size photo and scanned signature

7. Upload category certificate (if applicable)

8. Select CAT test cities, IIM campuses and courses

9. Pay fees via net banking/credit or debit card

CAT fee is non-refundable so candidates must fill the form carefully as incomplete forms or forms with errors will be rejected.
