New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore, has officially released the CAT notification 2022 on July 31. As per this official CAT 2022 notification, the CAT exam date 2022 is November 27. The CAT 2022 application form will be released on August 3 at 10 am online mode on the official IIM CAT website i.e., https://iimcat.ac.in/ . Following that, the admit card will be available for download from 5 pm of October 27. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets from the official website for the exam which is scheduled to be conducted on November 27.

The registration fee for SC, ST and PwD category candidates will be Rs 1150 while it is Rs 2300 for other categories of candidates. The CAT results are likely to be declared by the second week of January, 2023. The CAT 2022 score will be valid only till December 31, 2023.

CAT eligibility criteria 2022

In the published CAT notification, IIM Bangalore has mentioned the detailed eligibility criteria for the CAT exam 2022.

Education qualification: Students should have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Those who are pursuing their final year of bachelor’s degrees are also eligible to appear for CAT 2022.

Qualifying marks: General category candidates need to secure 50% marks in total aggregate and 45% marks for candidates belonging to the reserved category.

Age limit: There is no age restriction to appear for the CAT entrance test.

Post declaration of CAT result, students will have to apply individually to the IIMs and will have to appear for the selection process in order to take MBA/ PGDM admission.
