Kolkata: Presidency University has announced to all students of the Final Year Class in the session 2023-24, including both Regular and Casual students from U.G. and P.G. courses, who were unable to obtain their degrees this session due to failing the Final Examinations or having backlogs from previous semesters, are encouraged to apply for Casual Enrolment for the upcoming academic session 2024-2025.
This opportunity is available to those who meet the eligibility criteria to appear for their backlog papers and successfully complete their courses. To initiate this process, students must fill out the prescribed application form, which can be found online through the designated link http://14.139.217.88/misc/casualenrolment/
It is crucial to note that the last date for submitting the online generated application form, along with all required supporting documents to the Students’ Section, is 13th November 2024, by 3 PM.
Following this, a list of students eligible for Casual Enrolment will be published on 21st November 2024. Eligible candidates will then be required to pay a Casual Enrolment fee of Rs 500.
Further details regarding the payment process will be announced accordingly. It is important to remember that Casual Enrolment will be granted for the academic session 2024-2025 only if all necessary conditions are met and with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor.
All Casual students must also pay the Examination fees and submit their applications to the Controller of Examinations to appear for their backlog papers, following the notice that will be issued by the Controller of Examinations.
