All India - The National Testing Agency has published a public notice regarding the Advance Intimation for allotment of Examination City for applicants of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN 2026 Session 1 . According to the notice, the examination will be conducted at various Centres across India and in 15 cities outside India.

As per the schedule : 

Paper 1 (B.Tech/B.E) will be held on 21,22,23,24 and 28 January 2026 in two shifts i.e ,

Morning Shift ( 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon) and Afternoon Shift ( 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM) 

Paper 2A (B.Arch)/ Paper 2B (B.Planning)/ Paper 2A & 2B (B.Arch & B. Planning both) - will be conducted on January 29, 2026 in Morning Shift i.e 

Morning Shift (9:00 AM -12:30 PM) 

Candidates can now download the Examination City Intimation Slip from the official webiste jeemain.nta.nic.in using their login credentials from January 8, 2026. 

NTA has clarified that the Examination City Intimation Slip is not the JEE MAIN 2026 admit card. The official admit card will be issued separately.
