Kolkata: Times Higher Education (THE) has bring out the ranking lists for the Central and State aided public Universities in India today.
Times Higher Education (THE) today has published the names of the Universities those who have got their ranking among all Central and State aided public Universities and Institutes in India for the year 2022. The ranking by Higher Education Department have been done based holistic growth and Development.
University of Calcutta secured rank 1st in the lists of Times Higher Education Ranking done for the year 2022.
Looking forward to the World Ranking, Calcutta University along with top most rank in Higher Education has secured 14th position in the sub-category of ‘Decent Work and Economic Growth’ among all Universities and Institutions located in different countries all over the world.
With the total of 64 universities from India featured in the ranking lists and making India fourth best- represented country, Calcutta University ranking 1st position creates a moment of pride said Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sonali Chakravarti Banerjee.
