Kolkata: Calcutta University has started Admission for hostels of the University from today.

Calcutta University has started the admission procedure for CU-run Postgraduate Hostels for the session 2021-22. The candidates pursuing through various PG Courses falling under the University, have applied for the hostels falling under the University and got their names in the merit lists can complete their registration process for admission in hostels started today from 25^th April ,2022 .

The admission for the CU-run PG Hostels will continue 25^th May, 2022. Candidates those whose names have been published in the merit list can complete their admission procedure within the due course of time. Once, Candidate fails to complete their admission within the allotted time no further entries will be accepted.

The timing for Admission on all working days will be from 11:30a.m.to2:00 p.m. and 2:30p.m.to 3:30p.m. Candidates have to contact Board of Residence, of Calcutta University for admission formalities.

The Admission fees required for admission is Rs.740/- for General and OBC Candidates and Rs.635 for SC/ST and PH Candidates.  The payment to be made by the selected applicant for CU runs PG Hostels at State bank of India through SBI e-banking link www.sbionline.com

Candidates required certain documents for the admission:

• All documents in original of the students who have applied in an online mode.
• 2 nos. of coloured recent passport size photograph.
• Affidavit on Non- Judicial Stamp of Rs. 10/- from first class magistrate.
• Declaration from Guardian on Rs. 10/- Non- Judicial Stamp paper (Notary).
• Declaration from Students broader on Rs. 10/- Non- Judicial Stamp paper (Notary).

Candidates must mention their Respective Hostel code at the time of Payment.
