New Delhi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today announced the exam schedule for CA foundation exam to be conducted in December 2022. The detailed schedule and registration forms can be downloaded from the official ICAI website — https://icai.org./ .

According to the schedule, the application form of CA Foundation 2022 will start from September 14, 2022. Foundation exams for paper one and two will be held for three hours (from 2 pm to 5 pm), whereas the paper 3 and 4 will be conducted for two hours (from 2 pm to 4 pm). Candidates can submit the CA Foundation 2022 application form without late fees till October 4, 2022 and with late fees till October 9, 2022. The application form correction window for CA Foundation exams 2022 will be available from October 8 to October 13, 2022.

The last date for submission of online examination application forms with late fees of Rs 600 or US $ 10 is October 9. Candidates will have to pay Rs 1500 as registration fees. However, overseas candidates will be charged US$ 325 as registration fees and for Bhutan and Kathmandu centres, candidates will be charged Rs 2200.

Every year ICAI conducts the CA Foundation exam twice a year - once in May/ June and then in November/December.

This year, the exam will be conducted at nearly 277 centres in 29 cities across the country, and eight overseas centres in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimphu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait and Muscat.

ICAI issues the CA Foundation admit card only to those candidates who will fill the exam form successfully. The admit card has to be downloaded by candidates from the official website of ICAI. After conducting the exams, ICAI declares the result for each session separately on its official exam portal. Candidates can easily check their result by logging into their ICAI’s official account. Along with the result, ICAI also releases the pass percentage of CA Foundation.
