Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has launched its Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE) 4 initiative with plans to place 1,215 teachers in Muzaffarpur district schools as part of the 2025 recruitment drive. The fill-the-gap campaign focuses on strengthening staffing in government schools from primary to senior secondary levels. ([turn0news44])
While only 191 primary school vacancies are part of the announcement, the remaining positions span secondary and higher secondary subjects — reflecting a concentrated effort to boost subject-specific teaching capacity. The district education department is finalising category-wise and subject-wise vacancy lists, and formal requisitions will soon be shared at headquarters.
Officials say this recruitment wave seeks to improve learning outcomes in classrooms, enhance teacher availability, and support improved academic performance for students.
