Kurukshetra, 07 April 2023: Asst. Prof. (Dr.) Tapesh Kiran of the Institute of Mass Communication and Media Technology, KUK on the occasion of his 50th Birthday, rose up the tally of books in the Institute’s library. He gifted up 50 books to the IMC&MT library by expecting to brought up new learning experience amid students.
On this, Prof. (Dr.) Bindu Sharma (Director, IMC&MT) believing it as a commendable contribution, congratulated Dr. Tapesh Kiran. She made a remark that, ‘Dr. Tapesh as a media teacher always put profound efforts to teach better. He curates his thoughts into books for students and even share knowledge with others – adding this, she said ‘such noble move by Dr. Tapesh annunciate good message in the society’.
Furthermore, A media teacher and a good friend of Dr. Tapesh Kiran, Asst. Prof. (Dr.) Abhinav on the ocassion said that – ‘An alumni and an active teacher of the IMC&MT department of KU, Dr. Tapesh Kiran over his commitment to provide quality education often made endeavour attempts. He has come up with more than 30 Research papers till date and made vital contribution to the media education. Therefore, gifting 50 books on 50th birthday by Dr. Tapesh is as expected…’
Meanwhile, When asking the motive behind his act, Dr. Tapesh while talking to EduAdvice.in said that ‘In order to introduce students with various media concepts, important media mechanisms and specifically for developing reading habits in them – I have gifted books to my Institute’s library’.
“His contributions to the institute is considerable and a matter of honour ” – believing this by the faculty members of the Institute of Mass Communication and Media Technology they greeted Dr. Tapesh Kiran on his birthday and praised him the same.
Lastly, On the occasion of his 50th birthday, Dr. Tapesh Kiran showed gratitude towards faculty members for showing respect and love towards him and in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Bindu Sharma he handed over 50 books to the IMC&MT, KU librarian Mr. Vinod Kumar.
