Pilani: The Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani (BITS Pilani) has released detailed guidelines and schedule for the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) 2026.
According to the official notification, the entrance exam will be conducted in two sessions. Session 1 will be held from April 15 to April 16, 2026, while Session 2 is scheduled from May 24 to May 26, 2026.
Candidates can choose to appear for one or both sessions, with the higher score being considered for admission in case of multiple attempts. The institute has also clarified that candidates can appear for a maximum of two attempts.
The last date to submit applications for Session 1 or both sessions is March 19, 2026. Candidates opting initially for Session 1 will be allowed to apply for Session 2 later during the correction window from April 20 to May 2, 2026.
The application process is completely online through the official admission portal. Candidates must register using a valid email ID and mobile number, and ensure accurate details as key information cannot be modified later.
The application fee varies based on category and number of sessions. For candidates in India and Nepal, the fee is ₹3,600 for male candidates and ₹3,100 for female/transgender candidates for one session, while it increases to ₹5,600 and ₹4,600 respectively for both sessions.
Officials advised candidates to carefully follow the application guidelines and complete the process within the deadline.
