BITS Pilani 2026 Admissions Now Open to All 3 Campuses

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS Pilani) has begun the 2026 enrollment process for all its undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. It was recognised as an Institution of Eminence by the Ministry of Education and received an A++ from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). BITS Pilani is perhaps the most prestigious and selective of the private universities in India. The 2026 admissions cycle includes all three BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.

For undergraduate programs, the primary admission test is the BITSAT 2026 (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test). This computer-based admission test is conducted in two sessions. Admission test Session 1 is scheduled for April 15-16, 2026, and Session 2 for May 24-26, 2026. Registration for Session 1 will begin on December 15, 2025. UG and PG Programs Available in 2026

For 2026, BITS Pilani will offer B.E. across several specialisations, B.Pharm, and Integrated M.Sc. programs in 5 disciplines at the undergraduate level. Integrated M.Sc. programs in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, and Physics will be available. All programs are campus-based and are either 4 or 5 years in duration. Distribution of seats is based on BITSAT scores and preferences indicated by candidates during the counselling process.

BITSAT 2026 lasts 3 hours and is administered on a computer. It consists of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as well as questions on English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning. One unique aspect is slot booking. During registration, candidates are able to choose their exam date, time, and center. As a reference for the 2026 BITSAT, the B.E. Computer Science in the Pilani campus closed at a score of 304 marks in the 2025 cycle.

As for the postgraduate students, the admission process for the M.E. Programme is through either BITS HD 2026 or a GATE score of 2023, 2024, or 2025. The BITS HD examination was conducted on May 25 and 26, 2026.
