Bihar STET Admit Card 2026: BSEB Announces October 18 Release Date, Check Exam Dates

Bihar STET Admit Card 2026: Release Date Confirmed as 18th October

Bihar: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially notified the release date of the STET admit card as the 18th of October 2026. The board will release the hall tickets in the afternoons of the specified date.

A press note by the BSEB chairman Mr. Tyagrajan S. M announced the dates, but did not reveal the reasons behind the Board's abrupt decision. Consequently, candidates will have a limited time to download their hall tickets and understand the arrangements for the test. Candidates should have their login credentials to access their hall tickets as soon as they are released. They should also check the details printed on the card to avoid any confusion during the test.

Bihar STET 2026: Important Dates and Details

The key details reported for the examination are summarised below.

How to Download Bihar STET Admit Card 2026

The admit card will be released through the official STET examination web portal https://stetregistration.cbrt.co.in/. The portal may not display the admit card link before the board releases it. Candidates who have successfully completed their application process and submitted their application fee are advised to check official website of Board for further updates. Candidates are cautioned not to give their login details to any other website as Hall Ticket download will only be available on official website of Board.

What Should Candidates Check on the Admit Card?

Downloading the document is only the first step. Candidates should carefully review the details printed on their hall tickets to avoid confusion on examination day. Check the following information wherever it appears on the document:

• Candidate’s name and registration details
• Examination date and paper details
• Shift and reporting time
• Examination centre name and address
• Photograph and other identifying information
• Instructions issued by the examination authority

If a discrepancy is found, candidates should contact the board through its official channels promptly. They should not assume that incorrect details will be corrected automatically.

Bihar STET 2026 Exam Schedule: What Candidates Should Do Next

With the examination scheduled to begin on October 25, candidates should use the period before the test to complete practical preparations. After downloading the hall ticket, verify the examination centre address and plan the journey in advance. The STET is intended to assess eligibility for teaching positions at the relevant secondary and higher secondary levels. Candidates should check their individual examination details carefully because the date and shift assigned to one candidate may differ from those assigned to another.

The complete examination window runs until November 20, 2026. Candidates should therefore rely on the date and reporting time printed on their own admit cards instead of assuming that every paper will be held on the first or last day of the schedule.

Conclusion

BSEB has announced October 18, 2026, as the scheduled release date for the Bihar STET admit card, with downloads expected to begin in the afternoon. The examination window is October 25 to November 20. Candidates should prepare their login credentials, download the hall ticket when the link becomes active and verify their examination centre, date and reporting time. For the latest changes, the official BSEB and STET portals remain the most reliable places to check.
