New Delhi.: The Director of Medical Education (DME), Assam has commenced the **Assam NEET UG Counselling 2026 choice filling process** for eligible candidates. Applicants who have registered for the counselling process can complete their choice filling and choice locking through the official DME Assam website.
The counselling process will cover around **1,600 MBBS seats and 176 BDS seats** across 12 medical colleges and three dental colleges in Assam. Candidates must carefully select their preferred institutions and courses within the specified deadline.

Candidates should note that if a form is locked without entering any preference, it will be treated as **non-participation in the counselling process**.
