New Delhi. : ASN Senior Secondary School, Mayur Vihar-1 conducted virtual Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony for the Academic Achievers of the session 2020-2021. The e- program was graced by Shri. Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Environment, Forest and Climate Change  along with Members of the Managing Committee.

The virtual programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by the welcome address by the School Principal Ms. Swarnima Luthra .

Students then presented a spectacular virtual dance balled : 'Virangna-Rani Laxmi Bai'.The ballad was conceived with the aim  to depict the evolutionary journey of 75 years of India’s Independence and the celebration of this year Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav which would have been incomplete without mentioning the contributions of women in Freedom Struggle of India. The power packed  moving performance of the students spread the spirit of patriotism, harmony and togetherness which engulfed the atmosphere.The-ballad was followed by the virtual Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony. The students were recognized and appreciated for their relentless efforts and constant hard work in this hour of pandemic.

The Chief Guest, Shri. Ashwani kumar Choubey addressed the gathering and emphasized that students should not only be imparted education but also be given great values to effectively serve the nation. He also said that with pertinence, persistence and perseverance nothing is impossible.
     
School Chairman Mr. K.L. Luthra applauded the efforts of the achievers and motivated them to always aim for excellence through perfection in their cherished goals.  The event culminated with a vote of thanks given by Middle Wing Coordinator Ms. Sushma Kalia .
