ASN School celebrated International Day for International Girl Child

ASN Senior Secondary School, Mayur Vihar-1 conducted a special assembly on the theme *' Let her Fly and Touch the Sky'* on the occasion of *International Day for Girl Child

 
 
New Delhi. : ASN Senior Secondary School, Mayur Vihar-1  conducted a special assembly on the theme *' Let her Fly and Touch the Sky'* on the occasion of *International Day for Girl Child*. The aim behind this thoughtful assembly was  to sensitize the students and recognize girls' rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world. 
The assembly commenced with a beautiful Ganesh Vandana followed by a melodious rendition. A motivating Talk Show with the Women achievers was depicted on stage to encourage the girls to follow their passion. The highlight of the day was a scintillating dance performance by the young students on the song , ' oh ri Chiraiya'
 
School Principal Ms. Swarnima Luthra appreciated the  performances of the students. She said we must spread awareness and try to bridge the gender gap and build an inclusive & equal society for all.
 
ASN Senior Secondary School marked the  152nd Gandhi Jayanti, the International Day of Non-Violence 
 
ASN Senior Secondary School marked the  152nd Gandhi Jayanti, the International Day of Non-Violence by conducting plethora of activities. Students shocased the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of Nation through several meaningful activities conducted the theme Swach Bharat, Make in India, Peace and Harmony. 
 
A special and thoughtful assembly was also conducted to celebrate this day. Students payed tribute to Gandhiji by reciting ' Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram' a prayer close to his heart .Gandhiji's life and  contribution towards Indian Freedom Struggle was portrayed through a thoughtful skit titled "The unconquerable Gandhiji". The program came to an end  with a soulful dance performance on "Vande Mataram".
 
School Principal,  Ms Swarnima Luthra congratulated the students on their thoughtful and heart touching gesture of remembering Bapu .She said to always remember what Gandhiji said "You must be the change you wish to see the world."
