Arunachal Pradesh University, in collaboration with Murkong Selek College, announces the National Conference on Contemporary Trends in Mathematical Sciences (NCCTMS-2026). This premier event in Pasighat invites students and researchers to explore the intersection of classical theory and modern computational intelligence. Registration is free for UG/PG students, offering a unique platform for youth mentorship and academic networking in the Northeast.

Pasighat, India, In a significant move to elevate the standards of mathematical research and academic discourse in Northeast India, the Department of Mathematics at Arunachal Pradesh University (APU), in formal collaboration with Murkong Selek College, has announced the National Conference on Contemporary Trends in Mathematical Sciences (NCCTMS-2026). This premier academic gathering is designed to bridge the historical gap between classical mathematical theory and the rapidly evolving world of modern computational intelligence. By creating a high-level platform for mathematicians, researchers, and educators, the conference aims to explore the vital synergy between pure and applied mathematics, positioning the discipline as a fundamental driver of technological advancement.

The organizers have structured the conference to be a hub of collaborative innovation, leveraging the strategic partnership between APU and Murkong Selek College to build a robust network of scholars spanning the Northeast and the rest of the country. Beyond theoretical discussions, NCCTMS-2026 is committed to strengthening the academic community by addressing interdisciplinary approaches and highlighting contemporary research trends. This national-level event serves as a critical junction for experts to exchange ideas that could shape the future of scientific research and industrial applications.

Aspiring participants should take note of the crucial administrative deadlines established by the organizing committee. The window for abstract submissions remains open until March 25, 2026, after which a rigorous review process will take place, with notifications of acceptance scheduled for delivery by April 1, 2026. Scholars whose abstracts are selected will be required to submit their full research papers by May 1, 2026. To ensure inclusivity across the academic spectrum, the university has implemented a tiered registration fee structure. Undergraduate and postgraduate students are eligible for free paper presentation, while research scholars are charged a nominal fee of ₹400, and faculty members or industry professionals are required to pay ₹600. For those wishing to attend the sessions without presenting research, a general participation fee of ₹200 has been set.

This conference presents a transformative opportunity for the youth, particularly for students and early-career researchers looking to establish themselves in the global scientific community. By providing a dedicated stage for young scholars to showcase their original work, NCCTMS-2026 offers more than just a line on a resume; it provides direct access to mentorship from established experts and a chance to engage in rigorous academic dialogue. For the youth of Arunachal Pradesh and the wider region, participating in such a high-caliber national event facilitates networking with peers and veterans alike, opening doors to future research collaborations, internships, and advanced academic pursuits in the mathematical sciences.

EduAdvice is proud to support initiatives that foster academic excellence and provide a platform for the next generation of thinkers. We encourage all eligible students and scholars to seize this opportunity to contribute to the evolving landscape of mathematics and further their professional journeys.
