Patna: Single position is vacant for the temporary assignment as Research Associate-I at IIT Patna for a duration of 3 years that may be extended up to 5 years. The applications can be made in online mode till March 27, 2022. 

The time bound Research project is “Decoding the Science of Boiling via Bubble Acoustics: Towards Pre-emptive Control of Vapor Explosion in Industrial Applications”. It has been sponsored by SERB through Swarna Jayanti Fellowship Scheme.

The consolidated Fellowship/Salary is ₹ 47000 per month and HRA (as per GoI rules).

A PhD in mechanical or equivalent or MTech with 3 years’ experience in required area is the eligibility criterion. However, relaxation in age and experience may be permissible. 

The candidates interested must apply through an email, sent to the authorized person in this respect. The email should contain the pdf of the required documents as mentioned in the official notification by the college. In addition, candidates must also send two recommendation letters. 

The email must be sent on or before March 27, 2022. Candidates will be shortlisted by IIT Patna. Shortlisted candidates will receive the further information on the same by April 1, 2022. Thereafter, an interview will be conducted for the final selection.
