:- Applications are invited by University of Calcutta for Junior Research Fellowship under the project entitled for Rudrasagar Lake, the Ramsar Site of Tripura on February 16

Applications are invited by University of Calcutta for Junior Research Fellowship under the project entitled for Rudrasagar Lake, the Ramsar Site of Tripura on February 16.

It is as sanctioned by Department of Biotechnology (DBT),Ministry of Science and Technology, a management unit for DBT's biotechnology programme for the north eastern region, under the Government of India under the supervision of Dr Punarbasu Chaudhuri, Assistant professor of Department of Environmental Science, University of Calcutta.

Further it asked for educational qualification as M.Sc in environmental science or any field of life science, earth science or chemical science. Candidates should also have qualification or have cleared the exam conducted by National Eligibility Test-Joint, CSIR-UGC, NTA -UGC, NET JRF or LS/GATE/SET or National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as Department of Science and Technology (DST), Department of Biotechnology  (DBT), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), DRDO, MHRD, ICAR and ICMR.Applicant should have experience in field based environmental monitoring .

Candidates those having interest in this field can apply  for this fellowship on or before 26 February, through the application form or link provided on the official website of Calcutta University. It is a temporary assignment for which candidates will be terminated after the completion of the project. The date and time of interview will be announced later, to the shortlisted candidates through email.
